ROBO STEER

Just a note to say how well this steer works. Beside the many other people that have been helped working with it. My daughter, Shelby, just turned ten. We started this spring with her roping it at a walk then trot and then faster. We worked many hours on position, mainly rope slack dally stay with your steer until asked to either stop or side pass away to control where her horse and steer are. We just got back from the ACTRA finals in Reno where she turned ten out of eleven steers around the horns all with a nice smooth handle. We have a new group of young horses ready to start this winter on it and you can bet Shelby will be leading the pack practicing this winter on the Robo Steer.

About a year ago I started seeing the ROBO STEER on the Roping Show.  It looked like a great tool to work a horse on and to fine tune my roping skills.  When I found out how much it cost, I couldn't justify it.  I learned that a friend of mine had recently bought one, so I asked him about it.  He invited me to come rope it at his place.  Once I did, I really saw it's value.  My wife and I talked about it for quite awhile.  We finally talked ourselves into it and ordered our ROBO.  When ROBO arrived he had a couple of problems that had been caused during shipping. Everyone at JLD Products Development Co., the makers of the Robo Steer, were better than you could expect in solving the problems.  Even a Sunday afternoon phone call didn't go unanswered.  Missy, Sue, Scott, Marshall, and Jim thanks for all the help.  You've taken customer service to a new level.  Now that we've had ROBO up and running for a week or so it's hard to imagine practice with out it.  I wish we had this years ago when my wife and son started roping.  It's the only way for a beginner or novice to really learn to rope, and it's the best practice that any level roper can get.  It's safe, consistent, and fun.  When our 3 year old grand daughter starts to rope in a few years, she'll start on the ROBO.

I would like to thank everyone at JLD & Robo steer for such a valuable tool for both people and horses, the kids here, and my young horses have advanced so much more quickly than they have in the past, even on good live cattle & other mechanical devices, your staff and tech support have been great, I have had only had a couple of small problems, which were taken care of quickly. Thanks for a great product!

I bought our "Robo" at the NFR in Dec. After some wait, it was good to have the first "Robo" in Hawaii! We at Dahana Ranch cannot thank Jim enough for his personal touch in showing us the mechanics of this great roping machine. We ride a lot of colts here. Green rope & the training of good ranch horses is our business and wish we had some help! This "Robo" has done a tremendous job in helping our horses get better broke and work out specific kinks. The "Robo" is worth every penny spent.

We looked at ROBO steer while we were at the USTRC finals in Oklahoma City, after a demo of what ROBO was capable of we decided to get one. Other than getting a good horse it has been the best money we have spent on roping, if you have young or seasoned horses you will benefit from ROBO. You can rope ROBO at a walk, trot, or a run, we use him primarily as a lead steer, this allows us slow things down and pattern our horses to give us the same run each and every time. We have extended the roping life of our cattle and our horses. We normally rope ROBO every other practice, we can easily get 4 horses rode an hour. If you are worried about customer service, don't Jim and Marshall go way above and beyond to make sure that you are 100% satisfied. If you are serious about getting better as a roper and improving your horsemanship, ROBO is the tool you need.
